Donato's Turn-Key Solution

FirstComm is ringing in the New Year by completing work on a project in Greensboro, NC that highlights our ability to deliver a turn-key low-voltage system to the commercial consumer. Over the past week our technicians successfully installed and integrated a comprehensive low-voltage system for Donatos Pizza. The package provided to Donatos included an Inter-Tel phone system, data cabling, a digital CCTV security system, burglar alarm, digital signage system, access controls, a drive alert system, as well as a PlayNetwork business music solution. DIGITAL SIGNAGE SOLUTION

Donatos franchise incorporates digital signage into their menu boards. FirstComm mounted a 26" LG LCD HDTV in the center of the restaurant's menu board. The images are sent to the LCD screen from a Sony DVD player located in the main office.

Access Control

FirstComm installed a Crow S-106 stand alone access control for use on the backdoor at Donatos. The S-106 is a cost effective solution that provides PIN code or proximity card entry.

Drive Alert System

Donatos Pizza plans on generating a lot of pick-up traffic. In anticipation Donatos has reserved 2 parking spaces outside their front door and required a sensor alert the crew when a car pulled up for delivery. To fill this need FirstComm buried and installed a Meir Drive Alert System into the

asphalt in the parking area.

Voice/Data Structured Cabling

FirstComm installed the Voice and Data Cabling for Donatos. The phone system installed at Donatos is an Inter-Tel system. Here are some pictures of the terminated products.

Security and Music

FirsComm also handled the install of Donatos Digital CCTV security system as well as a PlayNetwork business music system. The security system consists of dome and bullet cameras that are connected to a DVR that can be viewed remotely via an internet connection. The music system consists of a Crown amplifier and Specco commercial flush mount speakers. The audio content is provided by PlayNetwork.
